Our principal services are:-

Magnetic Susceptibility Surveys

This is a rapid means of locating areas which could contain remains for further investigation. Magnetic susceptibility can also locate shallow sites which do not contain pits, walls or ditches.

Magnetometery Surveys

 

This is a  method of locating and defining archaeological remains but is dependant on the soil having an adequate iron content, (fortunately most do).

 

Resistivity Surveys

 

This method of locating remains is slower and depends largely on the moisture content of the soil.

We can locate our surveys using our own differential GPS equipment, total station and tapes.
